Children in Need 2012: Christmas Special prequel + trailer

This year's Doctor Who contributions to Children in Need has been announced, and it's all about the Christmas Special. We're getting both a prequel to the episode and an exclusive trailer. :techman:

For those in the UK, you can see both when Children in Need airs this Friday the 16th on BBC One. They will be online
soon after.

Wibbly wobbly, linky dinky

ETA: While this isn't related to CiN, it's related to the Christmas Special, so I'll just put it here. A promotional image of The Doctor from the episode:

Love Jenna's expressions

"Oh she won't see this. She's in LA"

With her deadpan look

They're up on Youtube now.

Here's the prequel, titled "The Great Detective", in HD quality:

And here's the trailer for the 2012 Christmas Special, "The Snowmen":

Actual, literal evil snowmen. Of course!

Better yet, the Doctor fights Krampus. Voiced by Gabriel Woolf, of course.

Next you'll want them to have red noses that shoot laser beams. NB: I copyright that idea.

That was fun and so was the Trailer.

Does something look different about Vastra? Or is it just the hood making her seem to look different?

I noticed that too. The light is shining at an angle that brightens her face. The bright light diminishes all the detailing

Also noticed they didn't do makeup on her lower lip
