Teri Hatcher was born in Sunnyvale, California. The daughter of a physicist and a computer programmer, she initially studied math and engineering at a San Francisco area community college before the acting bug bit. Hatcher later enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre. She got her start in the entertainment industry as a cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers football team in 1984. Next up for Hatcher was a role as a mermaid dancer on the popular television show "The Love Boat," which led to a recurring role as Penny Parker on the action-adventure series "MacGyver." Hatcher had her first book published in 2006. Entitled "Burnt Toast and Other Philosophies of Life," she shares much of what she has learned about life and love with her readers.
Quote:

A primetime soap with a truly contemporary take on the "happily ever after," Desperate Housewives takes a darkly comedic look at suburbia, where the secret lives of housewives aren't always what they seem. In the town of Fairview thereís a street called Wisteria Lane -- a peaceful cul-de-sac with manicured lawns and beautiful houses. Itís a place where you know all your neighbors and your neighbors know all about you. Itís the perfect suburban fantasy. But behind every picket fence there are secrets. And in every seemingly happy home, youíll find jealousy, lust, passion, and sometimesÖ murder.

Way up. By coincidence last night I was channel surfing an came across the movie Tango and Cash with Teri Hatcher in it. I think she was around 25 when she made that movie and she was so hot in it. Still is. And still my favorite Lois Lane ever.

Gotta go with Thumbs Down. I never found her appealing and the Desperate Housewives clip is just annoying.

Well I've never seen Desperate Housewives, and she didn't make a great Bond girl, but hell I did love her as Lois Lane (Think it was the bob) so sod it, thumbs up.

Sideways. Beautiful in the day but not aging gracefully. Looks like she had some bad plastic surgery. I vote on how the babe looks in the present.

Oh yes, the dance scene;):

She also had memorable catfight with Charlize Theron in the film 2 Days in The Valley:D:

Anyway, Teri gets full thumps up from me:techman:
I have been a fan of hers for years. She is definitely my favorite Lois Lane, and I did like her also in Desperate Housewives(though I watched only the 1st season of that).
Good looking and sexy woman, even now:)
And a pretty good actress also.

Thumbs up. I think the first time I saw her, she was on MacGyver.

A lot of people remember her guest appearance on Seinfeld, but don't forget, she also appeared on Star Trek: The Next Generation as transporter officer B.G. Robinson.

According to Memory Alpha, here's how the script describes her...

Quote:

...the very feminine and graciously endowed Transporter Commander B.G. Robinson. Everything she has two of are perfectly matched, coordinated, and move with a wonderful grace that is called 'woman.'

She also played Lois Lane's mother on Smallville...

She's the third actress to play both Lois and Lois' mother in two different Superman productions. The two others are Noel Neil and Phyllis Coates.
