Favourite lines series 5

What are some of your favourite lines from the series.

The one i liked was in the 1th hour. I knew I was really going to enjoy the series when the Dr came out with.

"That's fantastic that is 20 minutes to save the world and I've got a post office... And it's shut!" :guffaw:

I'd like to see more crazy stuff happening in this small village neext series.

The Doctor: "Sorry, checking all the water in this area; there's an escaped fish."
- The Beast Below

The Doctor: "The writing... the graffiti: Old High Gallifreyan. The lost language of the Time Lords. There were days, many days, where these words could burn stars, raise up empires, and topple gods."
Amy: "What does it say?"
The Doctor: "'Hello sweetie'."
- The Time of Angels

The Doctor: "There's one thing you never put in a trap. If you're smart, if you value your continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow, there's one thing you never ever put in a trap."
Angel Bob: "What would that be, sir?"
The Doctor: "Me."
- The Time of Angels

River: "I have a lot of questions, but the first one has to be what in the name of sanity do you have on your head?"
The Doctor: "It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezzes are cool."
- The Big Bang

"Can I have a drink? I'm thirsty."
"Oh, it's all mouths with you, isn't it?"

"Why can't you give me any decent food? You're Scottish, fry something."

* * *

"You're worse than my aunt!"
"I'm the Doctor, I'm worse than everybody's aunt!"

* * *

"Yeah? Well, we have comfy chairs."
"We have no need for comfy chairs."
"I made them say comfy chairs!"

"I died and turned into a Roman. It's really very distracting."

"I like the bit when someone says 'It's bigger on the inside.' I always look forward to that".

Amy: "Please tell me you have a plan".
The Doctor: "No, I have a thing. It's like a plan, but with more greatness".

Amy Pond: You are mister grumpy face today.

....

River Song: A needle in a haystack.
The Doctor: A needle that looks like hay. A haylike needle of death. A haylike needle of death in a haystack of... statues. No, yours is fine.

Oh, so many! A few that occur to me right away:

"Oh yeah, of course, it's a inter-dimensional multi-form from outer space, they're all terrified of wood!"

"This is not going to be big on dignity."

"Two things always guaranteed to turn up in a museum: The home box of a category four starliner, and sooner or later, him. It's how he keeps score."

"We're being chased by statues in a crashed ship. There isn't a manual for this!"

"What happens if the gravity fails?"
"I thought about that."
"And?"
"We'll all plunge to our deaths. See? I thought about that."

"I thought I'd popped out of the wrong cake. Again."

"Yours is bigger than mine."
"Let's not go there."

"Stop talking, brain thinking, hush." (I say that to my son all the time, he's Mr. Chatterbox)

"Fish from space have never been so ... buxom!"

"Can't we call for help?"
"Yeah, because space is really quite small and there's bound to be somebody nearby."

"Oh please, have you always been so disgusting?"
"No, that's recent."

"Don't diss the sonic!"

The scene where the Krafayis chases the Doctor down the street, followed by Amy scaring the daylights out of him.

"Is this how time normally passes? Realllllly slowly? In the right order?"

Almost anything from "The Lodger"!
"You've only been here three days, they've been the three weirdest days of my life."

"Look at me, I'm a target!"

"Rory, I'm not trying to be rude, but you died!"
"Yeah, I know, I was there."

The entire "Helloooooo Stonehenge" speech to the fleets in "The Pandorica Opens"

"What in the name of sanity do you have on your head?"

"I'm River Song, check your records again."
"Mercy"
