Favorite Star Trek Series/Show.
When I searched "Favorite Trek Series" here are the titles I got for results.
  • Least Favorite of the 5 Live Action Trek Series
  • It's Official...ENT is my favorite Trek series
  • Favorite Star Trek main character (all series!)
  • Favorite Star Trek Book Series
  • TOS Fans - Your favorite non-Trek TV series
None of them fit the theme of this thread. This thread's theme is: Which of the 6 Star Trek series did you like best. And yes, I'm including the short lived animated version of TOS.
Now on to the poll. I gotta vote.

Re: Favorite Star Trek Series/Show.
1. TNG
2. ENT - It's so underappreciated. Even the first two seasons are OK.
3. DS9 - I never liked the Dominion War.
4.VOY - It's the most consistent in quality, but never got as good as TNG and ENT.
5. TOS - It's too dated for my taste.

I haven't watched TAS.

DS9 > ENT > TNG >> VOY >>>>> TOS

I haven't watched TAS, only the first few episodes.

Re: Favorite Star Trek Series/Show.
I know it isn't the most popular but I love Voyager the most. It has Janeway and it makes me laugh.

DS9 is my next fav. I liked the Bajoran/Cardassian strorylines and I liked the Dominion war.

Re: Favorite Star Trek Series/Show.
I'm one of those seemingly quite rare Star Trek fans that loves the entire universe in all its incarnations to varying degrees. For me...

1. Star Trek
2. Deep Space Nine
3. Voyager
4. The Next Generation
5. Enterprise

This may be heresy, but if ENT's entire run had been as good as S4, I would place it above TNG.

TOS. Though TNG comes a very close second.

I've tried over the many years to answer this. I am afraid it is a tie between TOS, DS9, VOY and ENT. I give up on having a favorite.

TOS by several parsecs, then TNG and ENT.

[several million parasecs]

DS9 is easily the best of what the franchise has to offer, and TNG is what TOS wanted to be but was much better at it. VOY...didn't use its unique station as often as it could and should have, but was decent ultimately, despite some disappointments. TOS has its moments of greatness and does have some genuinely very good episodes, but overall it's not that great. ENT is like...I guess I'd choose it above torture. Well, maybe, depending on the type of torture.

Re: Favorite Star Trek Series/Show.
1) DS9
It pretty much had everything I look for in a show. Great storylines, great action, amazing character interaction. The amount you got to know each character, even the secondary characters, the way the show just kept giving great moments and it kept getting better better all the way through.

Will always have that special place in my heart. Despite DS9 being my favourite, TNG has always been the Star Trek I've know. It was everything TOS wanted to be and more.

Well, as you can tell I'm very much a 24th century kind of girl. I did love Voyager, some of the episodes were a bit iffy and some of main characters were boring as hell, but it did have some amazing characters (Janeway, EMH, Seven, Tuvok are my favourite) and again has some very good action, mixed with some complex storylines (granted not half as complex/deep as some of DS9's)

I didn't really like this much, it was a good idea, and characters like T'Pol and Archer were given some good plotlines. But on the whole it just fell flat and I don't like that most of the main characters were pushed right into the background. I do love what they did with the Orion 'slavegirl's' storyline, it was quite fun.

I appreciate that it started it all off, but I don't like the show at all, unless I'm watching purely for the sheer crackiness. Plotlines were rediculous, and I know it was made in the 60's, but I could not handle so much sexism while I watched it.
