Movie Quotes That Pop in Your Head/You Use
Do you have a favorite quote from a movie that either pops into your head during specific situations or that you use? I have two.
1) Every time I see a police officer, police car, or the like, I'm reminded of when Buzz Lightyear first saw Woody in Toy Story. So in my head or even mumbling, I'll say, "Ah, local law enforcement." 2) From the movie Captain Ron, I love using the line, "Tell the General shit happens." I queued that up on Netflix a couple of weeks ago, and my 15-year old exclaimed, "So *THATS* where you got that" |

Two that comes up with good frequency:
"You'd have a better chance playing Pick-Up Sticks with your butt cheeks." and "I guess that isn't exactly Plan B..." |
Re: Movie Quotes That Pop in Your Head/You Use
Generally speaking, whenever my wife and I are visiting friends and we're offered a beverage, I say, "Yes, have some."

LOL -- you just reminded me -- occassionally I try to fit in:
"INCONCIEVABLE!!!" |

:guffaw: Oh man, I used to use that one years ago! I love it. [filed away for future reference] |

A lot of Star Trek ones for sure. And like tharpdevenport i use "inconceivable!" often.
And, weirdly, "Look Ma, disco!" (that's from Mr. Mom). I know there's lots more, i just have to sit and think about it. |

"Coffee, the finest organic suspension ever devised"
This comes out of my mouth a lot more than it should. "Say 'hello' to my little friend" I don't say it, but it goes through my head a lot. "I told you never to use wire hangers" I think it or say it every time I do laundry. If you don't know where it's from, then you've made me old. "I don't think so, Tim." I say this when someone tells me something that is, to me, obviously stupid. |

Lena Lamont in Singing in the Rain, in the horrible voice of hers:
"What do you think I am--dumb or something?" My husband and I use that one to each other a lot. |
Re: Movie Quotes That Pop in Your Head/You Use
On rare occassion:
"...and don't called me Shirley." ;) |
Re: Movie Quotes That Pop in Your Head/You Use
Not so much of a movie quote, but I do say "Frell" sometimes.

Re: Movie Quotes That Pop in Your Head/You Use
I'm not proud of it, and it doesn't make much sense most of the time, but every once in a while, when plans go awry, I am known to mutter "So much for the training cruise..."

Re: Movie Quotes That Pop in Your Head/You Use
I can talk in movie/tv quotes, and I frequently use 80's cartoon insults. And Jem'Hadar lines. It's a serious problem.

"That's no Moon..."

I've got a bad feeling about this.
Don't call me Shirley. I don't think so, Tim. |
