What does drinking make you crave?
 

To those that partake in alcohol of all forms, what does it make you crave (in terms of food!)?

For me it's salty snacks (an obvious one).
Cheese thins/cheddars (they're very thin cheese biscuits).
And just cheese... yup. If I'm on beer, I can just start eating whole lumps of cheese. This is what I crave most, not sure why.

What are your drinking vices?

Tobacco. Which is a bit of a fecker, as I packed in smoking a few months ago. I had a few beers yesterday and really wanted a damn ciggie....didn't have one, though.

EDIT: Just noticed you mentioned "food". Must upgrade brain for better model. One that bloody works would be a good idea.

Not much. I usually get filled up on the calories from the booze.

I stopped drinking alcohol years ago but it used to make me want a Doner Kebab.

I'm pretty good at shaking off post-booze food cravings because I know that I don't actually want any and it's really the booze talking.

I always get a craving for soup (particularly Progresso Maccaroni & Bean) with saltines and cheese. Absolutely delicious. Another option is beef/cheese burritos (with sliced roast beef if at all possible) covered in melted shredded cheddar :drool: I always keep these food supplies at the ready since I could get drunk at a moments notice :beer:

I get cravings for more alcohol. I have to force myself to eat food when I've been drinking.

Back in my drinking days usually drinking made me want to get the food that was already inside of me out rather than wanting food that's outside of me in. If that makes sense. We really do need a vomit avatar.:wtf:

I used to drink a lot, and it never made me crave anything but oblivion. I certainly didn't want to *eat* anything whenever I was on a bender. It totally killed my appetite.

There's a place about a mile away from my home that delivers greasy burgers and chili cheese fries as late as 3 AM.:techman:

I also really like peanuts.
