You have an odd definition of Nightmare fuel. Neither would give me nightmares, there's way scarier looking aliens in Trek.

Remans, Fek'hiri, Nausicaans, Jem'hadar, some of the DSC Season 1 Klingon designs.

The dreadful redesign of the Klingons have been mentioned before, so I won't go over them again for fear of being accused of "crying about them". But none of the races you mentioned are particularly scary either.

Why spend energy complaining about a show you apparently don't even watch?

Life is too short to be so mad about a tv show.

I don't remotely like the DSC Klingon redesign but I came to peace with them long ago. Hey, it's a failed attempt to reverse the Augment Virus and the scientists and doctors went a little too far in the other direction, and they won't get it all right until just prior to ST:TMP. In fact, lines by T'Kuvma and Kol hint that Klingons were somehow changed at the genetic or subatomic level by humans, which is a big part of the reason why T'Kuvma's cult and its allies are so furious at humans and the Federation.

I head canoned this crap long ago. If I can then so can other people.

    Discovery Series Finale--

Craft: So what happened? Burnham and her crew finally found the tech of the Progenitors and--?

Zora: I don't know. Whatever secret the Progenitors had was so horrible that Captain Burnham and crew ordered Discovery and me to remain in place and then they fled. And it's been one thousand years since then.

All I did was post a comment about the design of Disco Ferenghi and Breen. People getting bent out of shape about it is certainly weirder behaviour than anyone posting a negative comment about something on the internet.

The redesign of the Ferenghi is absolutely dreadful.

You are literally shouting into the void here mate. Move past it.

It was a hundred times superior to the Klingons in Season 1 and 2. I just see it as 800 more years of the Ferengi tinkering with their genome.

"Nightmare fuel" is a pretty colorful description. It's going to get comments.

I generally like Discovery but season one kind of pissed me off with the re-imaging of the Klingons. For decades the Klingons had a very specific look. Wildly different hair styles, Now all of a sudden they don't have hair. and they have claws? from 1979 until the end of Enterprise Every Klingon had fingernails. What were they thinking trying to re-image the Klingons?

I preferred the reimagining. They toned it down the next season and that really should have quieted down the much ado about nothing nonsense.
