Spoilers Wednesday (Addams) Netflix Show

No news on a release date yet, but Steve Buscemi has joined the cast! Nothing official but "sources say" he'll be playing the new Nevermore Academy principal.

 

Nope. He's playing a student. The first still from filming has been released:

 

Yup, that tracks. He'll fit in perfectly.

 

This new video shows a few other pretty big names in addition to Buscemi. Watch the whole thing, the last name will really get you. Maybe he's the new headmaster?

One person who will not be in S2 is Percy Hynes White.

Hynes White's exit from the Netflix series comes after he was accused of sexual assault last year.

The actor who played Xavier Thorpe, a telekinetic student and one of Wednesday Addams's love interests, is among three original cast members who won't be part of the upcoming season 2 of Wednesday, which just began production in Ireland.

Jamie McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin, father of Tyler Galpin) and Naomi J. Ogawa (fellow student Yoko Tanaka) have also departed ahead of season 2. (Ogawa cited uncertain scheduling and a lack of progression in Yoko's journey as the reason for her exit.)

 

Damn, I hadn't heard about White's sexual assault accusations. A shame since I really liked Xavier.

I liked Yoko but since I'm struggling to remember her story arc, Ogawa probably made the right call there.
