Iirc the production code even implied it was Mando 3

They said there is going to be an explanation for that one in a future project.

But I think the book itself explains it

Yeah, but books are overwritten or adjusted like Ahsoka.

Books exist at that level of canon that can be freely contradicted at any time. I guess we could call them canon fodder.

    What's stopping you from continuing?

We don't know that for sure. We only saw their statues.

    Lack of willpower.

I slogged throu The Clone Wars until that Mortis arc, which absolutely finished me off.

That's as far as I got. Never went back.

Well don’t give up until it actually airs
There’s no guarantee they’ll be involved outside of those statues we already saw

Some of the best stuff in the series was after those episodes

Seriously. The very next episode set at the Citadel and following two parts were masterpieces, the General Krell tetralogy was outstanding, and the last four episodes of the original series in season five were stunning, just to name great 11 episodes. Toss in "The Gathering," and make it an even dozen.

Looking before the Mortis episodes, the first four episodes of the series are good, and I can't understand what problems there are in episodes like "Weapons Factory," which I think is also a great episode.

And the Maul episodes! How could you leave out the Maul episodes??
Culminating - at least in the show's original run - in Palpatine personally showing up on Mandalore to kick some ass! :adore:

Palpatine was clearly having fun that day.

    I don't blame you.

I can take it in bits and pieces. But, anything with Palpatine is exhausting.

Our first look at a Neimoidian from The Acolyte, 100 years before his species' first live-action appearance in Episode I.

I'm surprised, it seems like most people consider that a high point of the series.

To each their own. I consider the Mortis arc to be peak Star Wars.

Since Rey's father was a clone of Palpatine wouldn't that technically mean, at least from a purely genetic standpoint, she's actually his daughter, not his granddaughter like a most people call her?

I have a hundred major issues with the Sequels but one thing that brings me joy is that a Palpatine family member and Darth Sidious's offspring is not only responsible for vanquishing his evil spirit once and for all but is now the person who will bring about the rebirth of the Jedi. What worse fate for Palpatine and condemnation of his lifetime of sinister work than for his own granddaughter to be the herald of a new Jedi Order and the individual who finally destroyed him.

Sidious destroyed the old Jedi and inadvertently brought about the birth of the new Jedi.

Boba and all the Clone Troopers, while basically clones of Jango Fett, consider Jango to be their father. This same is likely true with Palpatine.

Unless there's another clone body out there somewhere...
