This is the same podcast network that has repeatedly given everyone's favorite Star Trek historian a public forum, free of even the lightest criticism, to advertise his crappy, unlicensed books with a slew of mistatements and outright whoppers. I am not surprised.

There was a misunderstanding a few months back, which led to Jones threatening me with a slander lawsuit over some private emails I had sent related to the lawsuit.

Huh? What podcast and historian are we talking about?

Multiple podcasts on the Trek.FM network, not just one. Standard Orbit, Melodic Treks, Trek Stars, and The Ready Room have had the man in question as a prominent guest (which doesn't count podcasts like Axanar that have heaped praises upon his books without interviewing him).

As for his identity, I think it's time to cash in and call @Indysolo ...

So, the public can get hold of it. But is it allowed to be reported on , specifically quoted from, on either AxaMonitor, or Mr Lanes blog also? Just curious, not personally bothered whether I get to read it or not.

As you will shortly discover, the events of the October 21 discovery hearing have become far less interesting given the documents the studios' attorneys filed on Thursday following up on what I reported on Twitter and Facebook on Monday — that Peters himself withheld a huge amount of emails and records central to the case, and his attorneys were caught by surprise about it. Stay tuned soon for the full AxaMonitor story about it.

Not to steal any of Carlos' thunder (very much looking forward to the Axamonitor article on this), but here are two recent postings from the Facebook group (C/P vs Axanar - where these documents can be found in their entirety - LOTS to look at and read)

Judging by the smarmy grins, the Self-Righteous Brothers must still think they are putting one over on everyone (including their own legal team).

Studio attorneys want another crack at Alec Peters after discovering an email trove he hadn't disclosed. And Peters' 'embarrassing' spending of donor funds is the reason his lawyers want to keep Axanar's finances confidential. Here's the full AxaMonitor story.

I'm currently writing about the past year with Axanar's lawsuit. As such, I've just read through the latest available PDF's regarding this whole email issue.

Nothing so far has made me utter the words "You're f--ked" as loudly as this has.

The supporting evidence is incredibly revealing; not just in the confirmation that emails etc were 'forgotten', but that Ranahan seemed almost surprised by this and that emails included Peters ratting out a good chunk of people, including continues.

Considering this was just a sample of the thousands - and there's still the possibility of McIntosh having more.... this isn't going to be brushed aside by shouting 'HATERS!' at everyone.

I put the chances of someone screaming these docs are 'doctored' at 60/40 (really, with as damning as they are, what else could they possibly come up with?)

As far as the confidentiality of the financial statement/annual report goes...........I find it kind of surprising LFIM hasn't opened his eyes to the fact that no one has/has had the guts to contact the CA Attorney General or file a Class Action suit and is still so paranoid about letting the 'embarrassing' details out. (After the legal system is finished with him, those will be the least of his concerns)

I won't be able to really get into the documents until next week (I have to prepare for 24 hours of G & T and I have to actually do my work for the wedding blog). However, yeah, this is the kinda stuff they warn us about in law school.
