    Hi Kirsten!

I'm currently a student doing a research paper on how the world of Star Trek affects the the fields of modern technology and space exploration. For example, NASA usually takes their course of action based on inspiration from Star Trek and what not.

I was hoping I could interview you here. I'd just like you to answer some questions that will help me get more insight about my research paper topic:

How do you think has Star Trek affected our technology and space exploration today?

Do you think that NASA basically takes into consideration the many science fictional creations in Star Trek for thier next projects?

Have you encountered anything that will make you agree that Star Trek did positively affect our technology and status of space exploration today?

I hope you will have time to answer these questions and help me with my research paper!

    Thank you!!!

I do hope you don't mind me messaging you on here but after an exhaustive search of ye olde interwebs this is the only means I've found of contacting you.
I am planning an article for Priority One (A Trek Radio podcast and fan site) about your last release 'The Eternal Tide' and I was hoping you'd consider being interviewed for it.
Book reviews and news is a new area P1 has expanded into and if there is any book I'd like to feature first it's yours. I understand if you are very busy but if you are interested in doing even a brief email Q an A that would be fantastic. Please let me know! My email is

Anytime you have to spare would be appreciated and on a personal not I'd just like to say I adored Eternal Tide! What your doing with voyager is both bold and wonderful, and as a fan purely I have been over the moon with what you've done.

Hope to hear from you soon!
