I specifically omitted Soval, who was recurring, the emotional Vulcans from "Fusion", and T'Pau and Surak, as they'd already been established. Did any other Vulcan character make an impression on you?

I would've chosen Soval, but second place is Michael Nouri as Syrran. Definitely was better at playing Vulcan than Blalock.

I voted for Ambassador V'Lar, but it was a tough choice between her and Mestral.:vulcan:

I gave some love to Koss, a character who gets the short end of the relationship stick.

I voted for Mestral just because I watched Carbon Creek last night and it's such an enjoyable episode. I have no idea why many people don't like Enterprise, it's a lovely show. The whole episode was good fun. T'Pol telling the others "a story", the humour, the storytelling... it was great.
No, there was no Janeway running through corridors with a huge phaser rifle. Is that an issue?

I also would have chosen Soval. I didn't vote (yet) because I need to look up each of the characters!

I voted fo Michael Nouri as Syrran. He had absolute commend of his character and presented an understated but charismatic Vulcan with feet firmly planted in the past as well as the present. Would love to have seen more of him.

I went with V'Lar, but Mestral is a close second.

I voted for Mestral, great character, intriguing untold story.

But I am in love with Soval so if he was in this poll I would vote for him multiple times :D

He was off the hook as much as T'Pol was. He went through with the marriage for the same reason she did - family obligation.

@{ Emilia }: I loved "Carbon Creek" too, it's one of my favorite ENT episodes. Even the bit about the Velcro was pretty funny.

And the kid 'Jack' - we never hear his last name, in fact I wonder if it's a young version of Jackson Roykirk from TOS' "The Changeling". (Jack was a smart kid, I can totally see him growing up to be a famous scientist.)

^ Jack was probably born around 1940, given his apparent age in "Carbon Creek". So assuming he is Jackson Roykirk, he'd have been in his sixties when Nomad was launched. IIRC, this happened in 2002, making him 62 at the time.

OF course the fanwank of this WILL collapse the universe.

    ^ Assuming this hasn't already happened. ;)

srsly though, it's not that much of a fanwank. "The Changeling" has already been referenced in one ENT episode ("Civilization", which features a Malurian - whose species will one day be destroyed by Nomad). And Jack is obviously intelligent and is fascinated with astronomy. It's not much of a stretch to assume he is Jackson Roykirk.

Oh believe me it makes me super happy to think he is Roykirk. But it IS total fanwank.. which also makes me happy rather more often than not.

I have high fanwank tolerance, what can I say.
