Frakes was in this weird episode of the 80's Twilight Zone. He played a guy at a party who hits on Pam Dawber's character but backs off when he finds out she's a secretary (this being a parallel world where secretaries are world famous celebrities).

Also the 80's TZ ep "Dead Run" had John DeLancie and Brent Spiner in it.

Nichelle Nichols co-starred in "Truck Turner" as a foul-mouthed madame out to kill the title character. Her bad Southern accent, loose fitting houchie clothes (with no bra), and bad 70's makeup were hilarious.
Odo and Neelix both co-starred together in "Benson" in the 70's. Loved that show.

And don't forget Robert Picardo as the "JohnnyCab" in "Total Recall". He tried to kill Arnold.

I was surprised to learn that Robert Picardo played the main alien (and his dad) in Explorers, as well as Starkiller in the movie inside the movie.

Here's a trailer where Picardo speaks as the alien (around 0:55):

Here's the Starkiller scene (movie sequence is from about 0:20 to almost 3:00, there's an interesting fourth wall violation, clearly on purpose, at around 2:30):

^Robert Picardo was in most of Joe Dante's movies. He was one of Dante's regular repertory players, along with William Schallert ("The Trouble With Tribbles," DS9: "Sanctuary") and Dick Miller (DS9: "Past Tense"). Perhaps his most notable Dante role was the Cowboy in Innerspace, though he also had a major role in Gremlins 2.

Nah, his biggest Dante part by far was Eddie Quist, the murderous werewolf in THE HOWLING. His big transformation scene was ground-breaking at the time, although it's been eclipsed somewhat by AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, which came out shortly thereafter. Picardo is almost unrecognizable as a greasy, long-haired serial killer who turns out to be a werewolf.

"I'd like to give you a piece of my mind," he says, before yanking out a chunk of his own brain and giving it to Dee Wallace . . ..

    Great stuff.

I think I saw The Howling once and found it totally unmemorable because Dee Wallace totally sucked any life and interest out of it. I could simply never stand her.

OMG, that's him?!? I dated a girl in high school who turned me onto that, years before TNG even came out! She used to play that scene over and over on her VCR. It is a great scene.

I haven't looked at that in decades. Ditto for Innerspace.

Picardo was JohnnyCab, but he didn't try to kill Ahnuld. It was the other cabdriver (played by Legate Broca from DS9) who did that.

When I was watching the movie 61* a while back, I couldn't help but think that at certain angles Thomas Jane looked a lot like Connor Trinneer. And who should show up later in the movie as a news reporter? Connor Trinneer!

One of my favourites was realizing that Robert Picardo was in Gremlins 2. Almost didn't recognize him because he had hair on his head.

I once caught the end of a Matlock episode with Jonathan Frakes as the opposing lawyer. Beardless Frakes was no match for Andy Griffith!

I once caught an episode of "Matlock" with a young Jeri Ryan running around in a bikini.

    Right here buddy.
I don't know if this counts but I just realized Roxann Dawson directed the fourth episode of Agents of Shield, "Eye Spy", and Jonathan Franks will direct the sixth, "The Well", a tie-in episode to the film Thor: The Dark World. I guess I can't say they were in that but it is neat to know they are apart of it.

^Actually the sixth episode aired last week; "The Well" is episode eight.

And the sixth episode, "FZZT," featured Titus Welliver from VGR: "Equinox" (reprising a role he formerly played in the Blu-Ray short film Item 47 -- and the "47" is probably a nod to the same Hollywood in-joke that often shows up in Trek and in Bad Robot productions.

I've seen Frakes' name pop up a lot in this thread already :p I was surprised to see him in North and South.
