The Devil in the Dark - It's a good episode (much better than TNG's Home Soil), but the Horta design makes me laugh, especially when Spock mindmelds with it.

    The Enemy Within
    Dagger of the Mind
    The Corbomite Maneuver
    The Conscience of the King

Removed Dagger of the Mind. It's the weakest of those left. Marianna Hill is gorgeous, but Helen Noel is an awful, unprofessional character. James Gregory also rubs me the wrong way with this.

Where No Man Has Gone Before
    The Naked Time
    The Enemy Within
    The Corbomite Maneuver
    The Conscience of the King

    Court Martial
    Space Seed
    A Taste of Armageddon
The City on the Edge of Forever

Well, seriously, how many honestly bad episodes are really in the first season? Like, two? There's really no stinky cheese episodes left on the list.

Should have done with for the 3rd season.

I'm gonna do something really controvesial and ill probably get shot for it.
I'm taking out City on the Edge of Forever.
Now WAIT WAIT, hold your fire! I do NOT dislike the episode. It's a perfectly good episode and a perfectly good plot and perfectly good writing. I just, personally, don't find it especially watchable or entertaining. It's not on of those I rewatch over and over and over. It's one I think 'hmm others seem to think that's a classic trek episode. I better put it on while I do this other more important thing so I can say I've watched it recently'.

Where No Man Has Gone Before
    The Naked Time
    The Enemy Within
    The Corbomite Maneuver
    The Conscience of the King
    Balance of Terror
    The Galileo Seven

    Space Seed
    A Taste of Armageddon

(Please don't rip my guts out)

Don't feel bad. People knocked out episodes like Best of Both Worlds, The Inner Light and All Good Things pretty much right away.

You're not alone with those feelings. I see why people like it, but I'm not usually drawn to re-watch it.

I'll kick out "The Enemy Within", while it's a fun conceit, it really isn't as great as some of the others on the list.

    The Corbomite Maneuver
    The Conscience of the King

Getting to to the reallty tough episodes to eliminate so it's going to be "The Naked Time". I can't really say the episode had any major faults, it's just that I would rather re-watch the other episodes that are left.

Say goodbye to: The Conscience of the King. I do like Shakespeare, and it was fun that it added some backstory to the character of James T. Kirk - but overall, I've honestly never really cared for it.

Court Martial. I like the episode of course. But I don't reckon its anybody's favourite.

IF I get this game correctly, I am voting to eliminate Galileo Seven. The crew are insubordinate; and I think Spock must've commanded some mission before this -- they're always saying it's his "first command." And the others are all better than it. If I'm not playing right, just ignore, I can take it.

I think you're supposed to produce the list minus your choice if I understand it correctly. I'll do it for you.
I hope thats OK with you.

    New list:

Where No Man Has Gone Before
    Balance of Terror
    Space Seed
    A Taste of Armageddon

Thank you. I'm glad it is not my turn now. Wow. I guess I could pick the least favorite if I had to, but they're all things of beauty.

Goodbye "Where No Man Has Gone Before", it's a pilot, things were rough around the edges, so the others left are a bit better refined since they're in the season proper.

A Taste of Armageddon - with what's left, it's the least entertaining. They're all good stories. Space Seed had a great villain, and Balance had good suspense. This is more of a nightmarish situation.

I'm going to eliminate Space Seed as good as it is Balance of Terror has Mark Lenard in it.

Well I'm glad Balance of Terror won if City on the Edge couldn't. And Space Seed is also awesome.
