Please report on the color or Regula--- brown or blue/gray? If it's a theatrical print that is opposed to some DVD or Blu-ray projection.

    Thanks.

Just one minor problem, most of the population doesn't live in London.

As The Cinema Museum, near Kennington Station, London, discovered when they announced what was to be a wonderful celebration of seven Trek films (and seven more obscure films, featuring the seven cast members/directors) over seven months in a 35-seater theatrette, plus access to the most amazing permanent displays of the bygone cinema era, when everything was made of woodgrain and bakelite.

A meagre but enthusiastic audience turned up for TMP (I happened to be in London in March), less for ST II a month later - and the staff and a few crickets for ST III. And the rest of the plans had to be abandoned.

Puzzled that there were no diehard fans at the first screening, I attempted to network the Museum's plans to local Trek groups, and via Facebook and this BBS - and received a load of complete disinterest.

Therin, I know it's easy to say after the fact, but had I caught wind of The Cinema Museum showings a little earlier I definitely would have gone along to at least one.

It's an amazing venue. London-based ST fans missed out big time. I joined several Facebook pages and Meetup groups, attempting to help them spread the word without being too much of a spammer, to no avail.

Yep it does, but I still wouldn't want to live there.

Although I don't live inside the M25, I'm lucky enough to be within easy striking distance of our venerable capital. But, you're absolutely right, these sort of things often seem extremely London-centric.

Yes, I'm a frequent visitor to the great city - love the West End and all it has to offer etc, but I'm always pleased to leave the throng at the end of the day!

Have to admit, I wouldn't brave London to see some classic Trek films. Waaay too far, and too expensive for trains, accommodation etc.

Also, I guess that organised Trek fandom is far smaller than its heyday, although don't quote me on that as I've never been involved with it as such.
