Wow, this thread really fell. Let me hit the defibrillator with my new desktop in honor of what is now one of my absolute favorite games:

On a bit of a Chris Foss jag for desktops. This one is actually a homage to his cover for 'Grey Lensman':

My latest desktop and wallpaper. I loves me some classic Enterprise. She's a grand lady.

Bravo to both of you for the new Trek starship wallpaper. Love the Voyager desktop, and I always get gushy and melt when I see one of the classic Enterprises commanded by James Kirk.

I love the new Abrams aesthetic in the current films, but I'd be lying my ass off if I didn't say I missed the old Constitution-class designs. A lot.

    Cheers.

It's hard to go too far wrong with Tobias Richter.

I wanted something sunny, and a bit more pastoral:

    Nice. I like it. Soothing.

Kind of looks like a hyper realistic Bob Ross painting. I see a happy little tree and his friend.

P-51 Mustang, correct? My aircraft identification has declined over the years.

Looks like a Mustang to me. The P-51D specifically, or the F-51 postwar variant used stateside for state air patrols and training?

Specifically a P-51D model, notable for the bubble canopy, which the earlier variants did not have.

The bubble canopy is what really through me off. Thanks for the confirmation.

    Pretty! :)

Yup, it's a D, and apparently you can ride in it.
