Understandable. As I recall, this is supposed to be exclusive to the full season DVD set, like those "Night" shorts on the S6 set or those "Meanwhile in the TARDIS" on the S5 set.
My three worse recurring characters in the whole of new Who... I cringe every time they are on screen together. Let's hope that this is their last series of appearances!
Sorry you feel that way. I enjoy them and look forward to more of them. It's not like they are regulars in every episode. (dang it!)
There's someone out there who doesn't like Strax, Jenny and Vastra? These unbelievers must be hunted down and sent to reeducation camps forthwith...
How come he doesn't have the weak spot in the back of the head? I realize that's not a comment on the video (which I quite liked, although it didn't really answer anything), but it kinda bothered me.
It would be funny if he had a button-fly arrangement on his butler suit for his probic vent. EDIT TO ADD: Nope. Just checked. Someone gets points off on his homework!
Though, thinking about it, how does he recharge if he's not got a ship (or barracks alternative) to plug into?
I was thinking the same thing. And theres quite a shortage of high tech equipment for building one in the 19th century.
I suppose that maybe they can still eat if necessary, it's just that recharging saves time on the battlefield. Actually, that could make a nice mini-episode for them. Strax: "So, you bite off bits of it and swallow it?" Veshtra: "Yes." Strax: "Disgusting. Primitive. Ooh, tasty. So is this the flesh of an enemy?" Jenny: "No!" Veshtra: "Not this time."
Nice. Or I suppose they could have a steampunk style machine in the cellar that you drop food into. It whirls and steams as the camera follows a wire connected to the back of Strax's neck, whos sitting there looking bored, reading a copy of The Times.
