These aren't the droids you're looking for.

There are so many times a Force wielder could use the Force to do something and they don't. Force usage seems to be determined by the plot.

Perhaps it's more difficult to do in space with no gravity?

Or maybe it is just something Anakin can do and Obi Wan can't.
If we have to rationilize a writer's mistake....

So in other words being the chosen one has perks.

So why are the Separatists invading a planet that's kind of already on their side?

    Because it's TCW? :p

I guess it's another example of ROTS's "Saleucami has fallen" followed later in the same film by an Order 66 scene on Saleucami.

I was thinking along those lines myself... in 2008.

But then Rising Malevolence came along and Plo Koon had no trouble Force pushing things around in space.

At this point I don't know how to address the buzz droid thing other than to note that Anakin apparently only pushes them away when he can see them.

I think of the Force energy as a kind of stamina... you can use it to do some really strong force-pushing or jumping but then you need to 'rest' a bit to recuperate.
For example: Obi Wan and Qui-Gon are able to 'force sprint' away from the droidekas at the start of TPM... but by the end of the film when they are force jumping around on platforms, they are unable to force-sprint through the forcefield gateway things during the final confrontation with Maul... because they are exhausted.

Well with (Ca)Ruso, they aren't hiding their intentions with this one. Still not bad, we've seen Ahsoka play detective before, and some good visuals in this one. I do think darker environs bring the best out of CW (or is that CWI...) visuals.

And I assume Darth Vader isn't able to generate force lightning.

The guy was basically a cyborg. Lightning bolts would have fried his circuits.

Great opener, slow episode but I it'll be a slow buildup.
It's been so long since we've seen A and A together it's downright refreshing!

My 6 year old has been saying for weeks..."Where's Anakin and Ahsoka?" He was pumped this week.

The Horatio Caine droid doing the constant sunglass flips was funny, but a bit overdone.

By far the best part of the episode was the walk-through of the holographic replay of the explosion. That's the cleverest, most useful thing I've ever seen done with holography in Star Wars, and it looked amazing too.

It sure did. This was easily the best episode of the season so far.

He and me both! They've intentionally created some down time between them to strengthen the bond, methinks. It worked.
Ahsoka in general has actually grown on me. Not sure I'd like to see her demise...

I found the episode decidedly average, but it was nice to actually see the main characters again for once. It was odd the way it didn't really end on a cliffhanger, it almost felt like a one-off.

^A lot of the arc episodes haven't ended on cliffhangers. The events of that particular episode have been resolved at the end, and sometimes it hasn't been clear until the next week that the story would even be continuing at all. Remember how surprised we were when the D-Squad droids kept coming back week after week, even though we hoped and prayed their story was finally over?
