Really, people were calling her a pig for being healthy and not a stick figure? Sheesh. I'm not sure she's done anything with her teeth, I suspect their prominence is likely just another attribute of her head looking too big for her body because she's become so skinny.

Thing was Billy was the right size for her. Some people are naturally skinny, some aren't, you used to look so healthy, now...not so much :(

And those people deserve a damn cockpunch as well. Honestly, so many lovely actresses have ruined their looks by listening to whoever these people are. Its a goddamn disgrace.

Their heads look large in those pictures and the lighting is pretty harsh. Not the most flattering of circumstances. Take this shot from the same event that looks better:

EDIT: oops, same shot as the first link, but that second link I don't know if it's the lens or what but it almost looks like it's been shot from above or something, their legs don't look quite right (maybe they are higher, seems weird but maybe the photog was raised up or something)

Yeah, judging by pics of seen lately Emily Blunt seems to be the latest actress to go all 'Hollywood' looks wise.

When she played Rose Billie looked like a regular person, an ordinary girl, but I guess once you have fame you're then faced with a situation where if you want to at least try and make it in the States, and/or you want to maintain your career even in the UK, there are certain sacrifices you have to make and she's felt them worth making.

Society puts so much pressure on celebs though, countless thousands of magazines sold on the back of "Cheryl's getting fat" one week to "Is Cheryl anorexic?" the next.

Not that its excusively women, mainly, but not exclusively.

Presumably the first time they met was on-set, filming the regeneration?

No, I seem to remember that Smith made every effort to avoid meeting Tennant then.

I wonder what the meaning is. He wasn't technically done (he had some more greenscreen work to do for his finale story, and subsequently filmed his SJA appearance) but I can imagine filming what would be his final moments in the character to be seen by people, to be pretty emotional for him. Doesn't surprise me that he'd want to book as soon as he could and start the un-Doctoring process.

That, or as much as a Who fanboy we know he was, he'd want to be there on the couch in January with everyone else and see where the show would go. :)

Ouch! Forgotten already? You were just down ther
I assume there's no dispute that Sylvester McCoy is the shortest? (Although, if Patrick Troughton turned out to be shorter, it wouldn't surprise me.)

I dunno. Considering it's bad lighting and they're all out of make-up, I think they look fine. Except Tennant looks... different. From some angles he looks right and from others he looks like the grand prize winner in the David Tennant lookalike contest. It's especially surprising since Smith, Darvill, & the guy that plays Sgt. Hathaway on Inspector Lewis all look unmistakably like themselves. Oh well.

BTW, I didn't know Billie Piper was dating Sgt. Hathaway!

As for those early photos of Tennant & Smith together on the set of "The End of Time," I think it's really mind-blowing just how young Smith looked back then. He still looks young now but now he looks like a young adult. Back then, he kinda looks like an eager young teenager who decided to put on Tennant's suit & make a fan film.

Speaking of Tennant & Smith & fan films, there's this fan film out there called "How to Stop a Time Lord." http://silverwolfpet.com/doctor-who-fan-film-how-to-stop-a-timelord/ It's quality is very fan film-ish in places (as would be expected) and all of the actors have very thick foreign accents. However, the movie does an excellent job of capturing the spirit of the show and what a Tennant/Smith crossover movie might look like. (I'm especially impressed with how the actor playing the 10th Doctor was able to absolutely nail so many of Tennant's mannerisms.)
