Braga is Pulling Seven's Strings Again.

Story by Brannon Braga, script by some other bugger.

But the point remains that Brannon was contracted to write a TNG story about the Borg, yet enbiggens his mandate by grabbing an avatar of the love of his life to make her dance for him... That has to be some sword of Damocles madness for Jeri that to the day she dies, if this actress ever does anything to annoy that man, that there are some truly horrible things which can become of Seven of Nine and it's her fault for poking the bear.

    Here's the kicker.

    It's actually a good read.

    I wanted it to suck.

I hate it when he does a good job.

Even though the threat really seems like much of a rehash of Scorpion but then there's alternate covers like this...

Where you wonder if they're going to attack WWII?

Or at least crash the VJ party in Times Square?

(It's probably just an artist fooling around and has nothing to do with the actual story.)

But this is what would have happened if Brannon had a billion dollars to spend on each episode of Voyager and didn't have to worry about ratings.

I love both those covers. Looking forward to these as well.

    Oh no.

    I hate Kim.

    That's my real passion.

Brannon is just a disappointment because he started so strong and then got lazy near the end.

This is me just calmly benignly noting an oddity.

Have you ever written short stories about horrible things happening to your exgirlfriends?

It's not a terribly healthy thing to do.

The 1st comic in this series came out last week kids.

I ignored the book in my reading pile, until I saw "Jeri" on the cover and Braga in the credits.

I am going to buy this. And it's quite hilarious that he's crafting tales of his ex.

    Maybe this explains Before Dishonor..

He is Brannon Braga. TBBS' Guy Gardener is an exercise in self loathing.

There was a poster a while back who signed on as "Brandon Braga" preaching that he created modern Star Trek and that everyone should worship him... It's so cute when someone has a plan.

A six issue periodical released in monthly increments, and later the collected bound volume wont be released till a few months after that... and then a few months after that a hard cover that would look beautiful on your bookshelf... Welcome to the strenuous world of collecting comics Teacake.

I was about to buy 3 or 4 of the TNG/Who crossover when I had the good sense to ask if they were coming out in trade paperback. So I just bought the first one. I can wait. The main problem with waiting is forgetting.

    You're dealing with comic shops?

If they are not morons, if the store has been around for at least 5 years, you can prepay for the trade and delivery.

IE you give them x amount of dollars in the hand and then one day in 6 months time, the comic book trade paperback will show up in a courier bag on your door step.

My son and I have been dealing with the same comic book store for over ten years now. No money down, he orders everything 'Trek' for me plus all the stuff my son collects. We just go in once a month or so and pick everything up. For older stuff we have ordered from Mile High and recently have had Midtown recommended to us.

Yeah I could probably order stuff from Minotaur though their markup is so high at times, and their postage so inflated that I can never get past the voice in my head whispering "ebay".

Seven Of Nine is Brannon's creation, he can do what he wants with it.

Furthermore, Seven Of Nine is not his ex girlfriend, Jeri Ryan is.

Jeri Ryan has played a lot of characters besides Seven Of Nine.

Furthermore, Seven Of Nine is an iconic character in Star Trek like Data. Any featuring or display of Data is not the same as pulling the strings of Brent Spiner.

Your hatred of Brannon seems to go far beyond normal criticism, and delves into something spooky and personal.

Nah, you're just a victim of the pendulum swinging back in Braga's favor. We've had what, 15 years of the B's as the anti-Genes? Now all the hipsters are into appreciating them so they prowl around forums looking for anything that can be taken as aspersions. It makes them feel mighty.

I have read it. When is the next issue?

7 with her hair down on the first cover looks a lot more like Jeri Ryan than 7 with her hair down in Voyager. I'm hoping we get actual hair down scenes?

Was LOL at the Vulcan Eastern Island statue.

    28 days.

I was LOL at the Borg Q'noS.

Has there been something in the novels to explain Sevens condition in the final pages?
