Yep, the Citrix demo + sneak. I'm likely to be zoned out just waiting for the movie. Maybe I'll remember something important. Best part, I get to bill this as "working time"!! :) Paid to watch TDKR.
I wasn't able to do the Cap one but at the Tron: Legacy one they showed one trailer at least.

I'm assuming the "we" he's referring to are fans in general.

I am sure that is what he means. I just don't like generalizations such as this that attempts to speak for everyone.

Only I can make that distinction to whether or not I am overly relying on trailers.

Possible Detail For A Fight Sequence In MoS

The info they have been given is that during a fight sequence in the film Superman uses a building as a weapon. Here is exactly what Rich Johnston was told, "I have been told details of one specific scene in particular, in which Superman breaks apart a building and uses the building itself as a weapon in some kind of ‘super martial art’ fashion. “Girders as throwing stars” was the specific example I was given." This rumor is unconfirmed at the moment so make sure you take this bit of information with a grain of salt.

That sounds dumb as shit. People criticize Singer for not having Supes throw a single punch, but you can also go too far the other way.

Well Superman punching humans would be a bit of an overkill, wouldn't it?

I was disappointed that they didn't have Superman defend himself properly against Luthor's thugs on Kryptonite Island. It would have been something to see that Superman can still hold his ground even without superpowers. I dislike the portrayal that every time he loses his powers he turns into a pussy wimp.

I'm as skeptical as anyone about this movie, but that description actually has potential. I just hope Supes isn't taken out by a slow-moving bus. ;)

Well the idea seemed to be that the kryptonite sapped pretty much ALL his energy. Even standing up was a huge struggle.

Personally I loved the powerful and heartbreaking way that scene played out. My only complaint is that we didn't get to see Supes get back at Luthor and his thugs later on. The villains were either conveniently crushed by falling debris or ran out of gas and got stuck on an island.

Not exactly the most satisfying way to end things.

I just wish this movie would have come out in Dec. instead of June. :(

In December, the first Hobbit movie's released. In June, it's the 75th anniversary of Superman, with all the marketing possibilities that brings.
I'd say Superman's Box Office chances are better in June than December.

I saw the trailer with The Dark Knight Rises and I was impressed. The cinematography wasn't what you'd expect from a superhero movie and it looked fantastic.

Was it the same as the comic-on trailer or a different, shorter one?

It's different as has been mentioned in the thread before and shorted as reported earlier in the thread. One description that I've read described Clark working on a boat, we see him as a young man, and the flying shot from the comic con trailer is in it.

It's already gone but I found it elsewhere. I like it but not as much as the comic-con one.
They should really have released that instead, if they really wanted to make an impression. I wonder if we'll see it in HD at some point.

Oh and Superman is on Deadliest Catch :D

It'll probably officially be online on Monday. That's usually how these things work.
