My toon glitched. Got the accolade but then it disappeared a few days later. Counter reset back to one. :-(

On another note, only one or two of my chars got the accolades from the Winter Wonderland. I was too lazy and thought it would hang around a while longer. A few got the Federation Scarf. Doc Lee had his material, highlighted the fed scarf, hit the button and received ... the snowball. Yep, I sometimes forget that you have to doubleclick everything in STO.

Lex, thanks, for setting up the Odyssey events. But something went wrong there, nobody is capable of signing up. You may have to cancel it and set it up again...
Everyone is getting an error message.

I'm really enjoying the game, especially the ship-to-ship combat. One minor nitpick is that I wish we had more to do on the Bridge, which right now doesn't seem to have any functionality at all.

Do you guys think STO is worth subscribing as a lifetime member?

Now? Probably not. I don't know how it breaks down by the numbers, but if you spent the money for lifetime on cp, you could probably almost buy every item to unlock everything. Someone else might know better then I do though.

The value of a gold membership over the first 1000 days is somewhere around the $400 mark when you take the veteran rewards into consideration, so I'd yes.

Only if you plan on actually buying all that stuff, though. If you're not buying multiple costumes for each character, and running lots of characters, pick fewer ships, a lot of that money drops out. Buying a few more bank slots, an occasional ship, etc. might end up being a lot cheaper. Those cost estimates usually assume no self control and buying everything available, all the time.

Using 1000 days also assumes this thing goes strong for 3 more years, and you want to play the whole time. Honestly, we're celebrating the 2nd anniversary, and they jsut wrapped up taking an entire year off from any real new content to play with. STFs get boring REALLY fast, so after a point, you're going to get burned out if they don't start dropping content a LOT faster. 2 FEs a year isn't going to cut it. At 5 episodes a FE, that's less than one 30-40 minute episode per month.

Cryptic has gotta step up their game, or once the F2P novelty wears off, they'll be back where they were at the end of last year, but without a new gimmick on the horizon to pretend they are focusing on, and nothing left to save the ship...

    Thanks for the invite:cool:
I was wondering if someone could write here a small template or instructions for the fleet uniform. I saw the screencap but more detailed instructions might be helpful..like the uniform type and the code numbers for the colors.
    Thank you on advance:)

Not necessary. In the uniform creator should be a dropdown menu that lets you pick the ready template. You just need to add your rank pins and the fleet emblem.

All very true, but then that's the gamble with a lifetime sub.

Is there still any way to get the Jeh'Hadar attack ship? Probably not, but I thought I'd ask. The Dev blog says the next Featured Episode is going to involve one in some way, although I doubt they'd make it required.

    Representing the TBBS! :techman:

I also made a "duty" version where I reversed the colors:

I then made similar ones for my officers. I went with the dark shades for the other department colors (A4, C4), and gave them silver rank/insignia and no belt.
