I made Shepherd's Pie tonight (though steaming hot it doesn't exactly photograph perfectly ) The green beans are garden fresh; I added a goodly shake of red pepper flakes into the meat base and a decent splash of shredded cheddar into the mashed potatoes to make this my best pie by far.
