STO Trek BBS Fleet

i have joined the dominion warriors fleet. we use the thing where we talk in mikes to each other in a chat channel during five or more person raids., It is cool to just chat to others there in the STO via a voice mike and listen I had a head set with mike and voice that I now Have a use for other then music ..,

You have the whole week to join the team.
A team is limited to 5 captains, if we exceed that number dont hesitate to join anyway, we can always open a second team and fill remaining spots with guest captains from friendly other fleets...

Please check the the event tab in the fleet menu to join the run.

 

We are using the anniversary to revitalize the Armada.
We are undergoing some restructuring now.
Most notably we open the fleet up for non board members. So if you got any real life friends who play the game invite them in, also if you made friends in-game.
Of course since it's still a fleet for TrekBBS representation in STO only board members will get full fleet membership and bank priviliges.
Any non board member retains the rank of Recruit.
To gain full fleet membership any recruit can join the board and apply as soon as he has 50 posts not necessarily in the Trek Gaming forum only.

We are working on new fleet uniforms.

We are also looking for Fleet Officers. To become one you should only be at least semi-regularly playing the game and be willing to assist normal members and recruits with questions, standard missions, STFs or PvP.

Concerning errors when inviting players to the fleet. It might be possible you have to be online at the time of the invitation to make it work. So look out for fleet members and ask them to invite you directly there.

In other news:

We got new fleet uniforms. I loaded up presets for every fleet rank and gender.
Since only 12 presets are possible I couldn't add one for every department color.
So if there is a science blue one, feel free to change it to gold or red if you are tac or engineer and vice versa.

I also set up two fleet events. Another infected run on saturday for anyone who wants to practice that one or needs to do it to unlock the Cure mission we will do on sunday.
The events are scheduled via the event calender on the fleet menu. You can set you attendance information there as well.

New rank and privilige structure is this:

Recruit: Any new Armada member gets this rank automatically.
It enables you to chat and interact with the whole fleet.
You gain access to the Recruit fleet uniform. The color of this uniform is not to be changed. You can add your normal level rank pin and should activate the fleet emblem.

Member: Any Armada member who is also a member on this board and has at least 50 posts here under his belt.
This is a necessary rule to keep the fleet an exclusive experience for board members.
This rank will gain you access to the fleet bank and the member fleet uniform. Add your level rank pin, fleet emblem and department color.

Sergeant: Any Armada member who has gained the level rank of Admiral.
You gain more bank priviliges and the Sergeant uniform.

Junior Officer: Any member who volunteers for "officer duties", which means being online at least semi-regularly and willing to help out other members with answering questions, leveling, questing, crafting and Boff training...
You gain further bank priviliges and the junior officer uniform.

Officer: Any junior officer who shows some legs doing the job.
You gain the officer Uniform.

Senior Officer: Selected officers who are willing to help with administrative work like managing the bank, setting up and running fleet events...
You gain the Senior Officer uniform and further bank priviliges.

Fleet Leader: Timelord_Victorious and Aelius
Rule above all and get the coolest uniforms!

 

thanks for letting me into the fleet. sorry for bombarding you all those questions earlier.
A lot of my gaming has been solo for the most part with a few non fleet team missions, never tried voice chat stuff before so could be fun not sure about Saturday yet have to see what works up to.

That is your timezone. The game is so clever to adjust the time for you.

 

Like i said in the other thread, can't get to the computer with STO on it just yet, but save me a spot, I'm in...

 

I will communicate the STF start a litte time before it over the the fleet chat anyway again, so just be there. Also be therw for Saturday as well if possible.

so that might be the handle for the secondary character think,,

 

Which character do you want to join with? Your main already is in another fleet already according to your Profile.

Edit: Invited your secondary, your main is in another fleet and cant be invited if you wanted me to.

 

More news:

I created an official fleet channel.
We already have the automatic fleet channel, so it seems a bit redundant but it's actually very convenient when you play non aligned alternates, KDF characters or even a character on Champions Online to keep in contact with the fleet.

Check the fleet information for instructions to join the channel or ask me or a fleet officer in game on how to join.

 

I'll be getting back in to the game (and the fleet) in the next week. I want to now, but the right button on my mouse is broken and I'm waiting for my new one to arrive.

It says to create a character and I can't will have to study up at the sto forum section there.
