It'd be nice if the whole thing was a little more flexible though. Things like tractoring asteroids into enemy ships if your weapons get knocked out. But something like that might get too complicated.

Well, there are no TOS interiors in the first iteration; that said, the Devs have said they want to add all the interiors that were from any mission eventually - so the Drozana 23rd century starbase interior shoulod be added some day.

But they plan to expand the functionaility of the Foundry as time goes on. With a little inginuity, you can do a lot.

Right in the middle of fighting Commander Neral's ship, my internet connection drops and disconnects me from the server. And, since they're doing maintenance or whatever until 6:00 A.M. here, I've got to go without for the next 2.5 hours. :(

Just in case no ones noticed, the Borg and Aegis equipment is now available.

Borg equipment (set of four)- Gotten as rewards for STF missions like "infected"
Aegis equipment (set of three)- Gotten through crafting.

Just a clarification. Three items of the Borg set are only available via completing the STFs (one item for each); the other can be gotton by doing (or replaying) the Undine Front: Assimilation mission. (it's a nice ship console that can go in ANY ship console slot.)

What all is this "Aegis" equipment? First I heard of this! What does it do for you? Better defense?

How do you craft the aegis equipment without a lot of previous R&D work??

You don't. You need to have your R&D nearly maxed to be able to craft the new equipment in the Aegis set (and then craft the proper schematic and have all the correct Anomoly materials needed for the various recepies on hand.)

In other words STO has taken a big step forward in is getting closer to having a real usable, abd useful crafting system in STO with the Season 3 path, and these latest additions in the followup patches so far.

    Take a look at this.

    http://www.stowiki.org/Aegis_Technological_Research

It's a set of three different ship components that are awesome on their own, but are even more awesome if you have two of three or all three slotted.

I am planning on getting the TMP uniforms (even thou they are my least favorite out of any era) but they are a sentimental uniform, plus I desire to alter the pants color to black/charcol grey and the boots black. I always thought that is all they needed to make them look good.

Are the TMP uniforms just the Admiral Kirk style, or is it the full gamut of TMP uniforms?

Apparently just the Admiral uniform for now, although you can recolour them to look like standard 2-piece uniforms.

No one-piece technician outfits, no open-necked outfits, and no security armour yet. Check out the STO forums, there is a sticky on canon uniform colours in the Starfleet Acadamy forum with some quick mock-ups.
