Ah, the advantage of a cinema in Brussels: nobody can deicde what language they want to see the movie in, so in the end it's English with subtitles.

If you had seen the movie, you'd know that what you just said is total BS.

    And not enough of Pike.

I loved Sulu's first attempt to bring the Enterprise to warp-speed... :guffaw:

BTW: Isn't it great that the bridge has that big ass window instead of a view-screen ;) :D

What's the worst that can happen? It's not like it can... dunno... crack or something. Just a completely random example of the top of my head ;)

Well it won't crack if its transparent duratanium ;) ,but it could blow up though,i doubt nero would be shooting snowballs at them :rommie:

Not Nero's snowballs, but I think the gravitational pull might be enough to crack a wee bit the **transparent aluminum**...

Of course it is (and I'm sure he's well aware that it's little more than his own fanfic, having little or nothing to do with the story told in the movie) but, for some odd reason, people keep quoting and responding to his comments as if they're in some way pertinent to the topic of discussion (that being the movie April keeps saying he hasn't seen yet.) Stop taking the bait, and let's get on with talking about the movie which is being shown, eh?

Pike explicitly told them not to scratch the paint and everything!

That scene looked great dramatically, but it didn't make all that much sense. Still, nothing says "we're in trouble" now quite like it.

    Random thought:

At least the Enterprise wasn't "the only ship in the quadrant" in this movie.

Just a holographic pic of the Romulan lady and no gruesome death that I can recall.
