^Typical Clarkson tactic though... Hasn't he done similar things in the past?

A bit disappointing after last weeks, could have done with less car reviews, and more top gear brand lunacy.

Well they did warn us at the start that this episode would be all about cars.
Although there were a lot of funny lines, I had to pause a couple of times cos I was laughing so hard at some of them.

Top Gear is in a no-win situation with regards to the focus on cars vs. "three guys cocking about" balance. Increase one (like they did this week with the cars) and people who like the other will complain.

As long as they don't turn into Fifth Gear, I'll keep watching. :techman:

I dunno why, but I'm not feeling the love with this series. It doesn't feel like "three guys cocking about" any more, it's just "three guys pretending to cock about" (well, apart from Jeremy and the mic ).

I'll keep watching, cos it's Top Gear, but between Top Gear Stuntman, the repetitive "much, much later..." gag and the Car losing to the bike/rock climber/skis AGAIN...

    ...eh.

When they got the Lacetti they had an open day for celebs to set times on the track, and this guy showed up, and no one knew who he was, and he was well spoken, so that's what they put him down as.

^ I didn't know that! That's hilarious. I was only asking Mr WB last night who Well-Spoken Man was.

The BBC fluffed the introduction of the stunt man on the Top Gear website, they made it sound like James May was actually stepping down from the show, rather than just literally stepping to one side to let him reverse over a row of cars.

^I think there would be a riot if James left. We got close to one when he spent most of his time doing his wine programme instead of appearing on the show.

Not that they did much skiing, though...

It seems I'm in the minority, 'cause I loved this week's show. With the RS6, CLK AMG Black Series, and Mitsu Evo X the whole thing was practically orgasmic for me. :D

I'm not one who watches it for the cars, but I enjoyed it too, plenty of funny lines, and stupid comments as usual.
