    Man I love Elite Force.

I've still got the Disc but I can't get it working on Windows 7, tried a bunch of different approaches and nada.

Is it the installer that isn't working?

Nah, and you know what makes it so very strange, I can run the installer, hell I can even run the multiplayer program fine (as you may or may not know it actually has two seperate programs for single player and multiplayer)

But the single player program just will not work and that's what I really, really want to play, I love it, it's what introduced me to Trek and what makes it even stranger was a few years ago I did get it to work on Windows 7

I've seen a couple of people online that talk about turning off all your cores, save one, lowering the amount of ram your system takes advantage of, using backwards compatibility, running it with 256 Colors, disabling display scaling on high DPI settings, nothing works

I love this game as well, but I was able to install and play the single player mode just fine in Windows 7 64bit. It's been a while, but I think the trick is to change the properties of the main game executable to always run as administrator, and then also check the boxes to run in compatibility mode. Might have to try various compatibility mode options to find one that works.

After all these years, I have finally started playing EFII.
So far it's pretty fun. Though compared to today's latest games, it seems rather primitive.

It's a shame it was never as popular as the first one.

The second one had more to it and was longer. I only played through it once but I remember enjoying it

There's quite a few still around if I recall. There's actually a server dedicated to the TOS Weapons mod called Excalibur. It has quite a few TOS inspired maps and skins as well. My brother used to pester me to let him play it. He was a pretty good phaser sniper ;)
