I've never ordered from them. I couldn't tell you, but they have a high satisfaction rate among collectors and are popular in the community so I'm assuming there are options for people who have defective or damaged toys and want to exchange or replace them.

Although if it's been a while since you ordered from them there might be a time limit on returning a damaged or defective item for a refund or replacement. Have you considered e-mailing them with your questions?

It's been too long I think. I never looked that closely at the figure when I first got it, and just put it on my shelf. It was only very recently though after picking it up to adjust the legs to make them longer that I noticed.

Attached copy of what I mean. This is a figure in good order but see where I put that arrow. That foot sits on an angle and not flat, it tilts up toward where the arrow is slightly. I have to work out how to undo the legs and try and seat it properly. It's been over a year since I bought this.

OK I've been doing a bit of research and the thing with the ED 209 feet is common.. Some of them have two feet that sit flat and some have a slightly raised left foot so it comes down to how lucky you are that you got one like that off the assembly line.

I was originally going to suggest using a small amount of boiling water, dipping the left foot into the water for a few moments and then slightly bending the foot until it matched the other. It's a common method used by collectors to straighten bent figure parts and accessories and seems to work if you don't leave the item in question in the boiling water too long. There's probably a way to correct the problem but the only one I can think of is that.

Is it a matter of esthetics or a matter of it not standing properly and falling over? if it is the latter, I can recommend Blu Tack. I often use it if my figures fall over.

I took an action figure to work today as it is "Action figures at work Day" but forgot my camera :( Here are some old pictures instead of the SG-1 team exploring a miniature park with buildings from all over the world:

By then Jack was tired and didn't want to go exploring anymore. It was a very hot day, over 30 °C, and no shadow anywhere.

Wow, are those miniature monuments located at your workplace?

Sorry if you've already answered this question before... I don't check this thread very often.

No but the park is in Saxony (country of Germany) where I live. We visited it two years ago but I never got around looking through the pictures and post them. I ove visiting such parks but usually they have more local buildings (which this one had as well). It's nice recognizing something you may have seen in real already. Must be fun building these!

The Torchwood team had fun with old castles and fortresses, I'll post these another day.

I had a great idea for the figures at work today but couldn't do it as I forgot my camera :( I'll keep the idea for next year then.

No the figure stands fine and doesn't fall over. It's just now that I know about the foot it sort of sticks out now that I know it's there... I'll try the hot water suggestion. If that doesn't work I shall just leave it.

What a difference a few well placed electrical tealights and candleholders make! I really should not put my Christmas decorations too far away. They certainly come in handy. But it is very straining, as I have to hold one in the air to light the faces, and photograph with only one hand.
I did the first picturs in the afternoon at daylight but was not satisfied. So I waited till it was dark and tried again.

I also made the fireplace by sawing off a picture frame:

I scored four new Star Wars figures from The Force Awakens and Rebels yesterday! The 6" Black Series General Hux and the 3.75" Unkar Plutt, Hassk Thug and Old Captain Rex.

The 6" General Hux is packed just one per case in the scarcest wave in the TFA line (Wave 4) and thus a very hard figure to find at the moment. I happened to walk into my local TRU right after they'd stocked a case of Wave 4 and found not only Hux but also the X-Wing Pilot Asty (which I already have, but it was still cool to see him again). The only figure from their wave that was missing was the regular First Order Snowtrooper.

That fireplace made out of an elegant picture frame is just ingenious! I'll have to do that sometime. Great thinking Astra! :techman:

Guys! Guys! Today I did something I am really proud of. One of the best stories I've ever done. I got the idea because I wanted to do something special for the girl who was the 1000th person to leave a note on my Thanksgiving story on Tumblr. I looked into her page and she likes the Tenth Doctor and Batman. Thus, this story got created.

Isn't the "Flight Control" TARDIS the coolest Doctor Who toy ever?!

Having the lamp, windows and "Police Box" signs illuminate is just so "wicked". Add to that the mat' and demat' sounds triggered when the box is placed upon a surface and lifted was a stroke of engineering genius!

Admittedly, Character Options "slipped" when it reduced the functions of Smith's box and the variants meant for Hartnell, Baker and McCoy, so I was pleasantly shocked when all the features were returned for Capaldi's box late last year.

I think the only DW toy that arguably rivals it is the 18 inch tall Voice Command Dalek.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

Thank you all! I also got a trophy for 50 likes, I must do something right ;)
If you knew the backstory behind this pic... that street lamp is from the UK, and I wanted it to light up. But our dollhouse sockets are of a different size and the plug wouldn't fit. So I bought a socket with battery and a new plug and with the help of my father fumbled the plug onto the cable. And I borrowed the traffic light from my brother, which is the best thing ever, switching between red and green all the time (when I was little, I had one where you had to press a button on top to switch lights, and it was not electrical). I am so happy about my new camera which does pictures in the dark so well. Couldn't have done that with my old one.

Want a few behind the scenes shots? I won't show you the other side of my kitchen though, which is a total mess, figures and props and lights lying in a heap.

I used to stapel books to hold the walls up but then I thought there must be a better way and got these bookends.

I made the windows simply with a bit of black paper and the window frame drawn onto it:

    Same for the streets:

Oh, interesting! I had no idea that the other TARDISSES were so different! This is the only one I own. It is actually the first thing I bought in the fandom. It came with Ten in coat, Jack in Air Force uniform and Martha. At the time I got it, I didn't even know Martha yet. I had stopped watching after season 2 (not my fault, German TV stopped airing) and only came back to the fandom years later via Torchwood (on a different channel).

But yeah, all the lights and noises are awesome, although yesterday it drove me crazy, as the light would switch off after a while and to start it again I had to lift the TARDIS which made also the noise start again. Try listening to that while taking 500+ pictures ;)

Are you in any way related to a Nurse Redfern? ;)

I was in Target today and saw these, really awesome job DC. The look incredibly cool, show a toughness and strength. I believe my sons as well as my daughter would love to play with these.

I wish those toys were available in Australia. We miss out on tons of things. The Dalek is exactly the kind of thing I'd want.
