I was always confused because in the UK, when buying Season 1 on video, episodes like The 37's were attributed to Season 1 not Season 2. I always find that good TV series need time to bed in. For the characters to mature. I loved this season but you see the maturity of some characters develop over the later seasons.
Well, season 1 is quite short actually, the shortest season of all the ST series. So why not take a few episodes of season 2 and add them to season 1?
Very true. I have been a lone fan for donkeys years so it will be nice to be filled in on facts I did not know
There were some special reasons why the episodes "Projections", "Elogium", "Twisted" and "The 37's" were aired in season 2 in the US. I don't remember what it was now, some sort of delay or whatever. But those episodes were produced as season 1 episodes and if you look at the stardates, the events are taking place in 2371. In "The 37's", Janeway tells Amelie Earhart: When Voyager was aired in Europe, whatever caused the delay in the US wasn't interfering and the episodes were aired as season 1 episodes. I remember watching them that way andsince I already had watched season 1 on tapes rented from a shop in town, I remember that these four episodes were included as season 1 episodes too. Funny enough, the region 2 DVD:s exprted to Europe I have bought has those episodes in season 2 but I still watch them as season 1 episodes.
It's funny because these extra episodes are quite uneven. "Projections" is rather good while "Twisted" is abysmal.
Plus, The 37's is much better as a season ender, than as a season opener. (In the same vein, Learning Curve is a bad season ender, and Initiations is better as a season opener) I always watch Season 1 as it was originally intended.
Twisted is bad but heroes and demons is good!?? You're mad....mad....as mad as mad Jack McMad the winner of last years Mr madman competition Marjorie Monaghan was a hottie though
The Doctor aka Picardo can make anything he has an important part in, great. And so he does in this episode.
