Have to echo these posts. Played both versions and never had a problem with the AI. The game remains one of my personal favourites, for both gameplay and story.

Resident Evil 5, on the other hand...

Speaking of which; I'm currently playing Resident Evil HD on the PS4. It's a thing of beauty. Get it if you haven't already.

Yeah, RE5 is best played with two players so that Allied AI is not an issue.

And yes, I got RE remaster the moment it released. It is indeed a thing of beauty. AB'ing it with the GameCube version, it is pretty much night and day. :)

Actually I enjoyed Killzone. :). Even though I was more annoyed with how the sniper rifle (and sometimes Luger's submachinegun) performed....with the bullets that didn't seem to want to always go toward the reticle. I have the original PS2 version and the HD PS3 version, the latter of which I believe fixed some of those problems.

What I really loved about the first Killzone was the story and the voice acting, especially with the likes of Ronny Cox (RoboCop, Total Recall) and Brian Cox (Rob Roy, Braveheart, Xmen United) lending their voices. And the banter between Jan, Rico, Luger and Col. Hakkha was occasionally a good laugh.

Hakkha: Even a monkey can write Shakespeare given enough time.

Rico: (muttering) ....the f**k's a Shakespeare?!

    :D

I finally managed to get the 100% achievement on GTA V, so now, under tremendous pressure and reassurances of awesomeness from friends, I'm trying out Destiny

I would laugh so hard at you right now but depending on your taste for grindy grinds and given that you're playing with your friends you might actually enjoy yourself.

Got my best and oldest buddy completely hooked on it, but that's by no means representative for your average player.

It's decent enough so far. I'm up to level 5, but it seems like you have to do a lot of wandering around looking for stuff to shoot when you're not in a mission.

The real grind starts at the current soft level cap i.e. at 20, when the only means to level up further is by finding and upgrading gear to increase your Light level.

Still, it can be fun if you enjoy the core gameplay enough so that you don't mind doing everything over and over and over and over again. Also, playing with like-minded friends is kinda key at that point.

I've decided to take a break from my second Dragon Age Inquisition playthrough, and I've started Chrono Cross. I haven't played Chrono Trigger, but from what I've read its not a requirement. I'm only about an hour into it, but its fun so far. The combat is different, but not in a bad way.

I thought about picking up "Dying Light" because I'm in between games at the moment. Not sure, though.

I bought Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii U yesterday but I'm still playing Saint's Row 4.

Being a veteran of Resident Evil, it did not take me long to get reacquainted with the HD remaster (PS4 and PS3) of the GameCube remake, and despite having not played it for a few years, I managed to beat the under five hour mark on Normal difficulty without dying and with NO saves used. (On my third playthrough) Now that I've done that, I'm going for the under 3 hour mark to unlock the infinite rocket launcher. (Already have the Samurai Edge, which is an infinite pistol due to beating the game in under 5 hours.)

Ugh, just had to deal with some old school cryptic JRPG BS. So, I'm about 2 ours into Chrono Cross, and I get the chance to get a new companion named Kid. I say yes, she goes with me. I check a guide to find something, and find that by saying yes to get Kid right now, I totally lose the opportunity to get another character. If I just said no, I'd get Kid eventually anyway, plus the person I would miss.

So, I had to start over. I managed to accomplish all the same stuff in only 1 hour and 11 minutes this time, since I knew exactly what to do and didn't need to read dialog so closely, but it was very frustrating. It also doesn't give you any hint that letting Kid come with you immediately means you can't get someone else (who you've already met and seems like an obvious companion). I think I'm going to have to look closely at a guide for this one, I wouldn't want to miss anything else because of some obscure thing I didn't do. Besides that, I'm still enjoying the game, this was just a bit frustrating.

/\ I wouldn't worry about not being able to get every character. First of all, there's a LOT of them. If I recall correctly, you actually need 3 playthroughs to get every recruitable character. And most of them don't really add a whole lot to the story.

I traded in the vast majority of my Playstation 2 games (and my Playstation 2 itself) for a used X-Box 360. I had a couple of PS2 games left over, so I traded them for a few XB 360 games. I picked up Star Trek, and Tomb Raider.

Firstly, Star Trek is hella-fun. The graphics look great, the gameplay is fun, if a bit confusing because I'm not used to these types of games. Tomb Raider is insane! I nearly died two dozen times in the first 20 minutes. That game keeps you on edge!

Star Trek is by no means a great TPS in the grand scheme of things, but that really doesn't matter if you found it to be fun - also, it's actually pretty fun in co-op, the fiancé and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
