Biller Joins 'Wizard's First Rule'

Kenneth Biller will be showrunner for Sam Raimi's upcoming syndicated series Wizard's First Rule.

As reported by the Hollywood Reporter Biller may be joined by Mike Sussman if negotiations for the latter to join Wizards First Rule are successful. Sussman would join the show as a supervising producer. The two have worked together before, on Star Trek: Voyager.

Wizard's First Rule will star Craig Horner as woodsman Richard Cypher. Cypher and a mysterious woman Kahlan (Bridget Regan) join forces to stop an evil tyrant. Twenty-two episodes will be produced for the first season of the show.

The show is based on Terry Goodkind's book Wizard's First Rule as well at the fantasy series The Sword of Truth.
