Set Phasers to Fun!

Ships, figures and Minimates feature in the new toys available for preorder for Star Trek fans.

As reported by TrekMovie.com and seen at Diamond Select Toys, Star Trek fans will be treated to new collectible toys, spanning several Star Trek series.

The U.S.S. Enterprise D model will be released in September. It is fifteen inches in length. The saucer can separate from the ship and there are light-up and sound effects, including voice commands from Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

Several Minimates sets will be available for pre-order later this year, including: Mirror Mirror Minimates (Kirk, Spock, Sulu, Uhura and Marlena Moreau); an eight-pack of Minimates which includes, among other things, a Borg Minimate; Star Trek Wrath of Khan figures (two sets plus three separate figures), a two-pack Star Trek: The Motion Picture Kirk and Spock; and some "Retro" Star Trek figures, including: Uhura and Mugato and Scotty and the Keeper.

To read more, head to the article located here. Pictures of all of the Star Trek toys available, which include past releases, can be found here.

Ugh, the Enterprise-D again. Am I the only who wants to see models of the Defiant, Akira, Saber etc?
