'Star Trek XI' Casting News

Darlena Tejeiro and Paul Townsend are to have roles in Star Trek XI.

As reported at Trekmovie.com, actor/stuntman Townsend will be playing the part of a Starfleet security officer, with several scenes in the movie. Townsend is no stranger to working on Star Trek, having been seen before on Star Trek: Enterprise, where he appeared as a gunfighter and was also a stuntman in the episode North Star.

Townsend has also been seen in shows such as Monk and Charmed, the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful and appeared in such films as A Mighty Wind and Small Soldiers.

Tejeiro's role is unknown at present, although she will not be playing an Orion. Her filming work in Star Trek XI has already been completed. Tejeiro began her career on the soap opera All My Children. She has also been seen in Starsky & Hutch as well as Medium, Ugly Betty and Nip/Tuck.
